President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the deployment and/or redeployment of nine Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, who made this known in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, said the handing and taking over should be completed on or before Monday, January 8, 2018.
The circular conveying the deployment indicated that while Aminu Aliyu Bisalla, Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), is moved to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, he was replaced by Adekunle Olusegun Adeyemi, who is a newly appointed Permanent Secretary.
The Permanent Secretary, Budget and National Planning, Aliboh Leon Lawrence, has also been redeployed to the Special Duties Office, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), Odewale Samson Olajide, from OHCSF, is moved to the Budget and National Planning.
While Dr. Umar Mohammed Bello is retained at the Special Services Office (OSGF), Sulaiman Mustapha Lawal, one of the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries is deployed to the Carrier Management Office (OHCSF).
Three other newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, Karo Comfort Chukwumuebodo, Dr.Abdulkadir Mu’azu and Osuji Ndubuisi Marcellinus have been deployed to Federal Civil Service Commission, Ministry of Mine and Steel Development and Service, Policy and Strategies Office (OHCSF), respectively.
