APC Chairman Yilwatda to Deliver Widest Election Margin Since 1999 – Moses Golu

A vibrant youth mobilizer from Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State, Mr. Moses Golu, has expressed strong confidence that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, will deliver the party’s widest electoral margin in national elections since the return of democracy in 1999.
Golu stated that under Yilwatda’s stewardship, the APC is well-positioned to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and retain or expand other elective positions across the country in the 2027 general elections.
According to the youth mobilizer, Yilwatda’s inclusive approach, focus on party unity, reconciliation of stakeholders, and grassroots engagement have strengthened the APC’s structures nationwide. He described the National Chairman’s style as disciplined, consultative and people-centred, noting that these qualities are translating into renewed confidence among party members and expanding support bases.
Golu, who stated this in Jos, the Plateau State capital, particularly highlighted Yilwatda’s understanding of youth dynamics as assets that resonate with young Nigerians. He said the chairman’s efforts in modernising party administration, promoting internal democracy and mobilising the younger generation would help convert the APC’s organisational strength into a decisive electoral advantage.
“Under Professor Yilwatda’s leadership, the APC is more united and focused than ever. He is guiding the party towards its strongest performance since 1999, ensuring the return of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success of our candidates in other positions,” Golu said.
The statement comes as the APC continues preparations for the 2027 polls, with party officials frequently citing improved cohesion and nationwide mobilisation under the current National Working Committee.
Golu urged APC youths across Plateau State and beyond to intensify grassroots campaigns in support of the party’s candidates, stressing that collective effort under Yilwatda’s direction would consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
