Dr. Faisal Shuaib, the erstwhile Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), has extended warm Sallah greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State and across Nigeria, urging citizens to embrace the spirit of unity, sacrifice, and collective progress that the festive season represents.
In his Eid-el-Fitr message issued on Thursday in Lafia, Dr. Shuaib congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as a divine opportunity for spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and compassion towards the less privileged.
“The essence of Ramadan and the subsequent Sallah celebration transcends mere festivity. It is a profound reminder of our shared humanity and the sacrifices we must all make for the greater good of our society,” Shuaib stated.
The public health administrator and prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholder in Nasarawa State used the occasion to appeal for sustained support for the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, lauding the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development, healthcare enhancement, and security improvements across the state.
“Governor Abdullahi Sule has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the transformation of Nasarawa State. From road construction to agricultural interventions and the strengthening of our primary healthcare system, his leadership has brought tangible benefits to our people. I urge all citizens, regardless of political affiliation, to support his vision for a prosperous Nasarawa,” he said.
Dr. Shuaib also threw his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that the administration’s economic reforms and social intervention programs would yield long-term benefits for Nigerians”.
The former NPHCDA chief called on religious and community leaders to use their platforms to promote peace and understanding, particularly as the nation navigates through economic transitions. He emphasized that unity remains the cornerstone of national development.
“As we celebrate, let us remember our brothers and sisters facing hardship. Let us open our doors and hearts to one another. Only through unity can we overcome our collective challenges and build the Nigeria of our dreams,” Shuaib concluded.
