The Accountant-General of Nasarawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, on Monday went round the Treasury Office to interact with members of staff, in a move aimed at strengthening unity, boosting morale, and giving workers a strong sense of belonging.
The visit, which is part of his leadership style since assuming office, also provided the Accountant-General with an opportunity to sympathise with staff over the recent demise of the Head of ICT, Mallam Badamasi Mohammed.
Interacting during the tour, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed described the late Mallam Badamasi as a committed and dependable officer whose contributions to the Treasury would not be forgotten. He prayed for the repose of his soul and comfort for his family and colleagues.
The Accountant-General called on staff to remain dedicated, disciplined, and committed to their duties, stressing that teamwork, loyalty, and professionalism are essential to effective service delivery. He reassured workers of his open-door policy and continuous support, noting that engaging directly with staff and understanding their challenges have remained regular practices since he assumed duty.
He urged the workforce to sustain the culture of diligence and unity, assuring them that their welfare and productivity remain a top priority of the administration of Gov. Sule.
